Original works of art
There is nothing quite as stunning
as walking into a home displaying original works of art.
There are many types of original
works of art, including:

- Sculptures
- Paintings
- Fabric wall hangings
- and any original
item on display.
One of the most breathtaking
displays of original art that I have personally experienced was in the
homes of an art collector. One wall was completely covered in original
art, mostly oil paintings, with many different subject matter. In fact,
the random placement of each painting did not detract from any other
painting around it, but rather enhanced the visual display.
When I am considering an original
work of art to purchase, the biggest influence is whether I like it
or not. I may be considering a specific artist, but that would be because
I like the artist's style.
Whether you are choosing an
original work of art as an investment or to add your own personal style
to your home, consider a piece that you enjoy. You are going to be living
with the selection in your home. So be cautious choosing based on investment
value only.
